Le projet vise à encourager les élèves à prendre conscience de l’existence d’autres communautés linguistiques qui expérimentent aussi les défis du plurilinguisme ; amener les élèves à développer leur expression personnelle et à prendre en compte leur identité plurilingue et pluriculturelle en échangeant avec d’autres élèves issus d’un contexte similaire, en Europe. L’échange culturel et linguistique sera préparé en amont par le biais de : - L’écriture et l’oralité créative en langue anglaise et créole inspirée de textes poétiques guyanais et irlandais ; - L’initiation à la pratique instrumentale du tambour guyanais, du chant et de la danse traditionnelle. - Un échange virtuel avec un binôme irlandais sur les thèmes culturels évoqués. Sur place, les élèves développeront leurs compétences linguistiques et culturelles, par le biais d’un programme d’apprentissage construit avec l’établissement d’accueil. Le thème de « la nature » a été choisi comme fil conducteur, par rapport à l’environnement naturel guyanais et de la région de Dublin. Ainsi, un lien pourra être fait avec une notion scientifique sur le thème de la bio-diversité.

Summary

The project aims to encourage students to become aware of the existence of other linguistic communities who also experience the challenges of plurilingualism; encourage students to develop their personal expression and take into account their multilingual and multicultural identity by exchanging with other students from a similar context in Europe. The cultural and linguistic exchange will be prepared in advance through: - Creative writing and speaking in English and Creole inspired by Guyanese and Irish poetic texts; - Introduction to the instrumental practice of Guyanese drumming, singing and traditional dance. - A virtual exchange with an Irish pair on the cultural themes mentioned. On site, the students will develop their linguistic and cultural skills, through a learning program built with the host establishment. The theme of nature was chosen as a common thread, in relation to the natural environment of Guyana and the Dublin region. Thus, a link can be made with a scientific notion on the theme of biodiversity.
