Step 2

Once the birds have a steady supply of food and water, Mickaboo volunteers work with them, socializing them and learning about each bird individually.

Step 3

This builds off of the last step, securing the birds' comfort with each other and with people. The ultimate goal is for all birds to reach this level of companionship and happiness in whichever home they find themselves in.

Step 1

This covers the base of the pyramid. The general idea of Maslow's Pyramid is that one must fulfill the first step before they can move up to the next. Food, water, and shelter are the basics needed for survival.
