Review: Give Voice Requests
Introduction
You can give voice requests to Merlyn using the push-to-talk button on the Origin remote. Follow these steps to give a voice request:

Begin by pressing and holding the Push-to-Talk button on the remote. This will activate the remote's microphone. Wait for the beep and look for the Merlyn orange dot in the upper right corner of your main display. This will let you know that Merlyn is listening for your request. Give your request. Release the button.

The discussion feature in Breaktime allows you to quickly and easily generate topical and grade leveled discussion questions using a voice request and the remote. For example, if you said, "Let's have a discussion about the major literary themes found in The Great Gatsby." Before a discussion question is generated, you would be sent to a screen that will allow you to use the AirMouse to appropriately level the question to a specific grade.

- Wait for the beep and look for the Merlyn orange dot in the upper right corner of your main display. This will let you know that Merlyn is listening for your request.

You can give voice requests to Merlyn using the push-to-talk button on the Origin remote. Follow these steps to give a voice request:

Once you click on the Breaktime tile, a new tab will open that looks like this: You will see two playlists: Movement Playlist Mindfulness Playlist Each playlist has been pre-programmed with links that encourage students to move or relax their bodies, depending on the social, emotional, or physical needs of the students. You can add, edit or delete up to ten links in either of these playlists, or simply leave them as they are.

The discussion feature in Breaktime allows you to quickly and easily generate topical and grade leveled discussion questions using a voice request and the remote. For example, if you said, "Let's have a discussion about the major literary themes found in The Great Gatsby." Before a discussion question is generated, you would be sent to a screen that will allow you to use the AirMouse to appropriately level the question to a specific grade.
