Thank you honorable chair and stemed delegates, the country of Paraguay White belives that drug education is an important topic, because it can save many lives .Stadistic have shown that 5.7% of high school sudents started consuming drugs at an early age.Put yourself in their shoes, what if you become addicted to drugs and you don't know who to ask for help? The Government of Paraguay has been working to adress the drug education problem by hiring a network of people who are specialised in prevention, treatment and support during recovery.Paraguay is part of the OAS, which is an organization of countries within Americas.The OAS has a multilateral evaluation mechanism (MEM) that helps drug consumers. One of their objectives is to make drug use prevention programs.They have also increased the number of drug policies,strategies and plans . The country of Paraguay encourages to have more experts going to schools, to teach the consequences of drug consumption, and showing how to ask for help in case you are going through it. We have also thought about creating all this essential information available in platforms such as the internet, social media or websites verificated by experts. And finally we thought that it would be great if UN countries also adopt policies similar to MEM's about drug education. In conclussion, the country of Paraguay as many other countries urges that mainly youg people become more aware about drugs,its consequences and how to avoid them.

But there are people who still don't know how to read or write. The Government of Paraguay has been working to adress the drug education problem by hiring a network of people who are specialised in prevention, treatment and support during recovery.Paraguay is part of the OAS,which has a mechanism (MEM) that helps drug consumers. Additionally the government has made a proyect to raise the quality of education, the access to internet and digital capabilities also, UNESCO has made a similar proyect. The country of Paraguay invites the UN to send more experts to schools, to teach the consequences of drug consumption. We need to make this information available in the Internet, social media and websites. Additionally, if there are more laws that make young people go to school the literacy rate would increase. Paraguay proposes to give monetary help to the schools so they can offer free meals in countries where children have to work, so they can focous on learning. In conclussion, the country of Paraguay like many other countries urges to the UN that mainly youg people become more aware about drugs. And to raise the literacy rate so people can have a better quality of life.
