1. CUT THE PIPE
Using the saw, cut the PVC pipe to the desired lenght. A 30 cm pipe works well for a basic flute.
Mark the holes
Use the marker and then the drill, to mark where you will drill the holes for the finger placements. Typically, a flute has six to eight finger holes.
Make the mouthpiece
Cut a small piece of cork and hollow it slightly to fit one end of the PVC tube. Take care with the cutter.
Assemble the flute
Insert the cork into one end of the tube. This will act as the mouthpiece.
Assemble the flute
Ensure it's secure, and adjust it if needed to create a proper mouthpiece.
Test the sound
Blow gently into the flute and adjust the size and placement of the holes if necessary to achieve the desired pitch.
