Emotion Explorers
with Disney
Students will learn to identify, understand, and manage different emotions (joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise) through Disney characters. Each group will study a specific emotion, investigating how it is expressed in Disney characters, and then teach their classmates what they learned, using examples and scenes from Disney movies.
Objective:

Each student joins an expert group to study a specific emotion related to a Disney character:
Base Groups:The class is divided into groups of 5 students.
Grouping:
Each group receives an informational sheet that includes:
Students with the same number gather in expert groups to learn about their assigned emotion.

In a group discussion, each base group shares one key idea about the emotion they studied, using their Disney examples.
Step 4: Conclusion and Reflection (10 minutes):
Base group members ask questions and take notes on each emotion, preparing to share their learning with the class.
Each student explains their emotion to the base group using the Disney movie scenes as examples.
Students return to their base groups and become “experts” on the emotion they studied.
