due to the request of my friend John to help him reduce his screentime after failing himself i decided to write this article to give him some help

so the first step to reduce your screentime might be to start having more activities where you don't have to use your phone like sports or building legos, personally i find that going out with my friends more helps too since those days i practically don't use my phone without realizing it. if even this activities don't work then put your phone away for the day like by putting it in a drawer and don't take it our until evening, if you really committ to it you will be able to slowly de-intoxicate and you will see that you'll be craving your electronics less

Possible setbacks

of course this plan might have some setbacks like you missing important messages or calls, to avoit it it might be best you inform the people you know about this and tell them the right moment to send things so that you don't miss them. another setback might be that you can't call people but for that you can use a normal telephone with keys if you are home. if you want i can take part of this too since i use my phone too much too and it will help both if we worked togheter
