It is a fence built by the United States of more than 1,000 km to prevent immigration from Mexico. Construction began in 1994 and one of Donald Trump's great electoral promises in 2016 was to finish it so that it would cover the entire border, although it has not been fulfilled.

It is a wall that divides the island of Cyprus into two halves, between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus. In 1974, Türkiye invaded the northern third of the island of Cyprus and proclaimed the area's independence, but only Türkiye recognizes it. The rest of the governments and the United Nations point out that the entire island is part of the Republic of Cyprus.
