The National Museum of Anthropology has a large collection of ethnographic objects that bring together significant characteristics of the cosmovision and daily life of the indigenous peoples of contemporary Mexico.
The changes brought about by the organization of the museum in 1940 brought with it the idea of a new building to house the growing collection. That goal was achieved in 1963 when construction began on the current building in the Chapultepec Forest.

In Mexico, the interest in collecting objects began with Natural History, followed soon after by antiquities and documents. These three collections gave birth to the first Mexican Museum whose foundation, in 1825, was part of the network of public cultural institutions required by the new nation.

The reason why I chose this museum is because when I was in elementary school I had the opportunity to go to this great museum, but I wanted to go again because now I have different points of view.
I think now that I've grown up I've been able to appreciate more and take the time to analyze the pieces, the sculptures and everything.

In terms of accessibility, it is a bit far away, it is not at the entrance of mexico city, it is in the center, even so it is not complicated to get there.

Personally I think this is a very important and interesting museum because there you can learn a lot about the history of Mexico, you can see many things from maps to pieces that existed in the past, it is certainly wonderful.
The bad thing is probably the distance and all the traffic before you get there.
The good thing about this museum is that it is quite large, the cost of the ticket is affordable, it is very interesting, it is easy to understand and to follow.
