The relationship between the students and teachers is normally formal, the students uses the title of the professors "Pan" for male teachers and "Pani" for female teachers.But, as in Spain, there are always exceptions, and the level of confidence between student and teacher varies among students.

The educational systems of Spain and Poland are very similar because both belong to the European Union; however, they still have differences. For example, in secondary school, students in Poland have one more hour of classes than in Spain, or that all homework is optional and cannot be graded. Additionally, compulsory education lasts until the age of 18 in Poland, which is two years longer than in Spain.
