Working children

There are places where kids have to work in terrible conditions to earn a very small wage.Most child labour is found in agricultural activities like picking vegetables, fruit or cotton where children work long hours in close contact with pesticiedes, insects, animals and bacteria. They are paid very little and have very little food to eat. Other children work in dusty hot factories making clothes or explosives and again they ricieve a small wage.

Child soldiers

There are children in some developing countries that are forced to do something even more terrible: become soldiers. Children do not choose this life, but they are forced into it because they are orphans and poor. They are army offers them food but compels the children to fight, spy, cook and clean for them. Children are easy to control because they don't understand danger. UNICEF and Save The Children constantly work to help them start a new life. They rescue child soldiers and give them a safe place, food, medicines and a school because without education they cannot hope to have a future.
