BELGIUM

INTRODUCTION

Belgium is a small country located in Western Europe bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. known for its history and culture. The country has three main sites: Flanders, Wallonia and the Brussels (the capital).it´s famous for it´s medieval towns, architecture, and beautiful cities like Brussels or Bruges. Brussels, the capital city, is not only the political center of the country, it´s also home to many European Union institutions. Visitors can explore many monuments and eat chocolates and waffles.In addition, it ´s known for its beer. The country has hundreds types of beers, each with unique flavors and styles. Belgian beer culture was even recognized by UNESCO.

. There people have three official languages: Dutch, French, and German. This linguistic diversity is a significant aspect of Belgian identity and culture. In terms of sports, soccer is the most popular, Other common sports include cycling, tennis, and basketball. Belgium is also famous for its contributions to art, particularly in music and visual arts. The country has lots of music scenes from classical composers to contemporary pop and electronic music. The national flag of Belgium consists of three vertical stripes of black, yellow, and red, representing the country's heritage. Symbols such as the lion and the Manneken Pis statue in Brussels (the capital) are iconic representations of Belgian culture. Additionally, Belgium is known for its unique wildlife, including the European bison and various bird species.

Then, visit The Royal Palace of Brussels, just to admire its impressive architecture from outside.After that, go to Mont des Arts for beautiful views of the city and visit cultural institutions like the Royal Library or the Musical Instruments Museum.To end the first day in Belgium, have dinner in La Roue d'Or, where you can also Enjoy different types of Belgian Beer.

We start our second day visiting the Atomium, an iconic building and museum that offers panoramic views of Brussels and have breakfast at the café inside.Right next to the Atomium, explore Mini-Europe, a park with miniature models of famous European landmarks.Have lunch at a local restaurant in Laeken and then explore Parc du Cinquantenaire, and museums such as the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History or Art and History Museum.If time allows, take a guided tour of the European Parliament For your last dinner in Brussels, go to Saint-Géry, known for its lively atmosphere and great restaurants.To end the day, take a stroll along the canals before enjoying dessert at one of Brussels’ famous chocolate shops.

Have braekfast at the hotel and then take a train at 10:30 to get Bruges at 12:45.Arrive at Hotel Van Eyck located in the city center.Go to the Market Squar, the central square of Bruges, surrounded by beautiful medieval buildings and climb the Belfry, to enjoy the panoramic views from the top.Have lunch at one of the many restaurants around Markt. Try some local specialties like Flemish stew or mussels.Visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood a relic believed to contain the blood of Christ.Take a sboat tour through Bruges’ canals. Visit the ChocoStory Museum dedicated to chocolate made in Belgium. Choose a cozy restaurant in the historic center for dinner. Enjoy traditional dishes with local beer.

Visit St. John's Hospital, a historic hospital turned museum that shows medieval art and artifacts.Have dinner at Mozart Brugge restaurant and after that you can enjoy somo hot chocolate

Then, visit the Cathedral of Our LadyHave lunch in the nearby Grote Market. After that, visit the Antwerp Zoo one of the oldest zoos in the world.Visit the Antwerp Central Station considered one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. Then, visit the Diamond District known for its diamond trade and shops.Have dinner at a restaurant in the trendy Meir shopping district and have a walk along the riverfront.
