JCU Campuses

jcu campuses

All JCU Campuses are located nearby and in the heart of Rome, specifically in Trasevere, a bohemian neighborhood of the city

A short walk from the Guarini campus, John Cabot's Studio Art Facilities are housed in a historic Roman palazzo at Largo dei Fiorentini. The Art and Design studios are fully equipped for the widest variety of artistic practices and experimentation. Facilities include a dark room, drawing and painting studios, a photography studio, a fresco studio and a MAC Lab equipped with the latest industry-standard software.

The Caroline Critelli Guarini Campus, situated in Piazza Giuseppe Gioachino Belli 11, is the first property owned by John Cabot University and it hosts classrooms, administrative offices, and a classroom that can be used for physics and basic electrical engineering courses. It was named for Caroline Critelli Guarini (1900 – 2001), mother of the Hon. Frank J. Guarini, Chair Emeritus of the JCU Board of Trustees and generous benefactor of the University.

JCU's Frohring Campus is located in Lungotevere Raffaello Sanzio 12, on the banks of Rome's famous Tiber river and a five-minute walk from Guarini. In addition to classrooms, the Campus houses offices such as Student Engagement and Immigration Services. It is also home to John Cabot University's cafeteria, the Tiber Cafe, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers various meal plan options.

INFO+

Communications

You all have already received a communication on Wednesday, November 27, but please REMEMBER to use the link you received to register for the webinar (if you don't register in advance, you will not receive the link to the actual webinar). If you cannot attend, a recording will sent at the end.

Why are webinars important?

The information shared during webinars will be essential, therefore try your best to not miss them. Topics such as immigration requirements, move-in procedures, and orientation activities will be covered

Differences between meetings

Please remember that the webinar and the OL video chat are completely different. This meeting is a moment for you to ask questions and concerns to me as your peer mentor. The webinar is hosted by staff members addressing mandatory procedures.

Webinars

The Orientation, Housing and Immigration offices will host mandatory webinars from December 13 to December 18 (students have been assigned one slot).

Online Orientation

If you are just waiting for you documents to be approved, do not worry, we are working on it, but due to the high volume of documents, the process is taking a little longer than expected

Online Orientation

PLEASE remember to complete the online Orientation (and if applicable, your online Immigration) on the Student Portal. The deadline is December 19.

F.A.Q.

  1. I am Italian, I don't have a health insurance. For Italians, their health insurance is the tessera sanitaria.
  2. I don't know where to upload my visa. Visa must be uploaded in the Immigration section.
  3. The "Orientation" button is greyed out. You must first upload your passport. Click on the notification bell or your profile in the top right corner of the page.
  4. I can't access the Student Portal. They are probably using their NetID credentials that do not work on the Student Portal. They must use the credentials they chose during their Admission Process.
  5. The resources are not opening. Usually in this case, the computer is preventing pop-ups or the privacy settings are interfering.
