money to spend
What we did was to buy the cheapest flight. First we took a bus to go to Madrid and, from there, we went straight to Dublin. The flight lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes.
We arrived there and an Uber took us to our hotel, The Shelbourne, one of the most famous and also the most luxurious.
We arrived and had dinner at the hotel. Doing the math we spent 1,300 euros, between the bus, the flight and the hotel.
CITY DETAILS
When we arrived in Dublin everything was beautiful, it is a city with a mixture of historical and modern architecture. Its streets are full of Georgian buildings with colorful gates, green parks, traditional bars, picturesque shops and a cozy atmosphere. We also went to the outskirts of Dublin which offer natural landscapes, with stunning views, mountains ideal for hiking, with ports and fresh seafood and there are also rural areas.
ACTIVITIES WE DID
We did a lot of great activities there. We visited all the popular sites, went shopping at Grafton Street where all the famous stores are and did many more things, such as: Going to a lot of animated bars, theaters such as the Abbey Theatre and the National Museum of Ireland where we could see different aspects of Dublin's history and culture.
GASTRONOMY
In Dublin we ate a lot, since the food there is very tasty. Above all we dedicated ourselves to trying the most typical dishes, such as:
CULTURAL FACTS
On our trip to Dublin we realized that it is a city where religion, especially Catholicism has been important for a long time, although today people are more open and less religious. The city is very hospitable and friendly, and the bars are the heart of social life, where people gather to chat, eat, listen to music and have a good time. The city celebrates many events, showing its openness to different cultures and communities.
THANK YOU!
