Donegal Bay is the largest inlet in ireland , and is located in the located in the south west of Donegal. Characterized by a crescent shape,it overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

It's a country of extremes : wilderness, remote mountain passes and splendid rocky peaks, small lakes and spectacular cliffs.

Donegal Bay is an important fishing ground,especially for tuna and salmon, in fact it is the most important fishing port in the country. Tourism is also of considerable importance in the southern area,wich ìs more popular for surfing. Tourists are attracted above all by the wild nature and the splendid sea.
