Presentation
Roy Lichtenstein
Roy Lichtenstein (1923–1997) was an American artist known for his contributions to the Pop Art movement. He used bold colors, thick outlines, and comic strip-style dots (called Ben-Day dots) to create unique, vibrant paintings. His works often featured everyday objects, advertisements, and famous comic book scenes, turning them into fine art. Some of his most famous pieces include Whaam! and Drowning Girl. Lichtenstein’s art challenged the boundaries between commercial imagery and high art, making him one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
