At this time it is common to use flour. These days I will be making bread and this is what I discovered about flours for home use. I find it interesting to share this data with you so that you can differentiate the flours.

What is flour?

Flour is a fine powder obtained by grinding various solid ingredients such as cereals, seeds, nuts and legumes. Its name comes from the Latin farina, which in turn comes from the word far/farris, the ancient name for farro or wheat, one of the first foods used to make flour.

This concept refers to the amount of protein contained in the flour. When it comes into contact with water, gluten is produced, an element that provides volume to the dough. This means that the greater the presence of gluten, the greater the volume of the preparation
