This small ski resort is located in Serra da Estrela, close to The Tower is the highest point in mainland Portugal, located in the municipality of Seia, in the Serra Estrela Natural Park and in the parish of Loriga. It is around 2000 meters above sea level and is the highest point. The closest urban area to the resort is the municipality of Covilhã, around 20 kilometers away, and the closest accommodation is in the town of Penhas da Saúde, around 10 minutes away. Covered in snow between December and April, with the help of artificial snow cannons, the ski resort has infrastructure for winter sports and modern cable cars. Ski and snowboard equipment can be rented here. This ski resort has 9 slopes with a total length of 6.1 kilometers, suitable for beginners, but there are also slopes for advanced skiers. The lowest altitude is 1,854 meters.
