Make a PSA about a World Issue!
What are you passionate about? How can you change the mind of others?
You will research a world issue that you are very interested in and decide how you will showcase that issue in a visually appealing video that is only 60-90 seconds long. Think how you can gain people’s attention and make them act. You PSA should be professional looking and rock solid in terms of research.
This is your chance to make a difference!
PSA Rules and Guidelines:

All videos must be produced as a video or radio public service announcement Each PSA must focus on ONE world issue: i.e. food security, the global status of women/girls, wildlife habitat, increase in violence, etc. The length of each PSA should be between 60 – 90 seconds: It could be a video or an audio file. All PSA’s should begin with a 10 second full-screen slate (or “title screen”) that includes the following information: Creator's name plus the member(s) of the group (altogether max. 3 students).
◦◦Each PSA must have one Lead Producer. Since several students may work together on the project, it must be submitted under all the students' names. No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for thiscontest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use thematerial for this contest. Copyright free images, music, etc. can befound at several website links found on the links I give you. Content must not 1) promote illegal behavior; 2) support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice; 3) advocate sexual or violent exploitation; 4) violate rights established by law or agreement; 5) invade the privacy of any person; or 6) be otherwise inappropriate as determined by me.

Move more, move better, move forever.
There's a revolution going on in kids' sport. Research shows there's a right way and a right time to develop the fundamental movement skills and fundamental sport skills that benefit kids for their whole lives. Just as important, we've learned that by making the process fun for kids, they will stay active and have greater chances to become top-level athletes.
Because kids who have fun being active are more likely to stay active for life.

CBS Cares - Sun Safety "Save Your Bacon" PSA
I saw this PSA on TV tonight and I thought it was a good parody of the old 'This is your brain on drugs' PSAs by the The Partnership for a Drug-Free America. I think that image of your skin/bacon cooking in the sun will make people want to protect themselves in the sun which is a great cause.

How can teens be safer drivers? Encourage them to teach younger students how to drive. As they teach and are role models, it reinforces good driving behavior in them and teaches future drivers.
