She was born...

She was born on september, 1945, she had two brothers, José Antonio and Luis, who died some years ago, but José Antonio still lives in Zaragoza with his wife. Her mother, Elisa, was a baker, and his father, Anastasio, was a soldier, a war mutilated, who died by an accident (which she didn't told me) when she was only six years old. She never talked me about him

1st daughter, Elisa Pilar

On the 17th of december, 1976, her first daughter, Elisa (my mom), was born. She was also realy sweet and happy. When she got old, she decided to do the carreer of "spanish language and literature", but then, she did another carreer, nursing, because she realized she didn't want to live just by teaching language. On the 3rd of September, 2007, she got married and, on the 31st of May, 2011, I was born.

1st day of primary school

This was her first day of school, 1951. She remembers it as days full of joy. Not so much time later, she will go to a boarding school in Málaga for orphan kids (as her father was already dead) where she made some friends (she still has contact with some of them, even though most of them have already passed away).

1st communion

IIn this photo, she had her first communion, she was only seven, but she did it because her brother, José Antonio, was doing it too, so she did it. As you see, she did it with a lot of children. With that first communion, she started praying a little more, but her passion of going to the church will start later on.There were more than fifty kids, because San Mateo's priest died, so some kids couldn't have their first communion, so that year there were lots of kids.

Golden wedding

On the 30th June, 2023, my grandparents had their golden wedding. But they celebrated it on the 1st of july because they couldn't celebrate it on the 30th. We celebrated it on "El Sella", our entire family was there, Carlos, Irene, my mom... We had so much fun and took a lot of photos. It's a day my grandma will never forget!

Her father died

On 1951, her father had an accident with her uncle and unfortunately died. I know almost nothing about him, I just know that he was a war mutilated, without half of his arm. She had a really bad time, but she got over it after all. His brother, Luis, didn't meet him, he was already dead when he was born. As I said before, I don't know anything about him (I just know what sais above), my grandma doesn't want to talk about him.

1st son, Carlos

On the 18th of april, 1974, her first son, Carlos, was born. He was a very smart and sweet boy. A couple of years later, her sister, Elisa (my mom) was born. But, one day, my grandma saw that he had a cross-eye left eye. He kept like that some years, but then, he got operated and his eye went "normal" again.

I chose her...

I chose her because she is a really important person to me, she took care of me lots of times. Also, she has a lot of stories to count, even though her life was kinda tough, because she had to deal with her father's dead at an early age, but she got over it with a smile.

She got married

In this picture, she's about to get married with my grandpa, Carlos, this was on the 30th of June, 1973. She was with her wedding dress at the hermitage of San Mateo. Later on, she had a dinner on a restaurant. This was one of the best moments of her life. Not so much time after, she went on her honeymoon to Salamanca.

2nd Baccalaureate

In this picture, she just got out of an exam of 2nd Baccalaureate with her friends in Málaga. With this photo I wanted to show how joyful she was in Málaga with her friends, even though she wasn't with her family very often, she spent those years full of happiness with her friends. That's the school, Colegio El Pilar, Málaga, for war orphans, it was a catholic boarding school.

2nd daughter, Irene

On the 19th of june, 1985, her second daughter, Irene, was born. When she was born, her brother was already fifteen. She was the only one who had blue eyes, just like her father, Carlos. She had a passion for arts and drawed really frecuently.She was a really funny and pretty girl. On 2014, she got married in San Mateo, with my uncle, Javi.
