Pyramids: Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt, with around 200 pyramids compared to Egypt's 118. The ancient Nubian civilization built these pyramids along the Nile River. Location: Sudan is one of the largest countries in Africa and is located on the Red Sea. It's bordered by seven other countries: Egypt, Central African Republic, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, and South Sudan. Nile River: The Blue Nile and the White Nile meet in Sudan's capital city, Khartoum, to form the Nile River, the world's longest river.
