2. OUR EMPIRE
- We are an empire because we control territories outside our borders, like Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines, which we gained after the Spanish-American War.
- We have power because we are stronger militarily and economically.
- We believe that the United States has been chosen by God to lead and spread civilization, freedom, and Christian values to these lands.
- Our mission is to bring progress, stability, and moral guidance, helping these territories develop under our leadership.
