HAIRBRUSH

This utensil has been with us for 5,000 years although it is said that these utensils date back to 5000 BC as they have been found in Egyptian tombs and are still found there today. In its earliest versions it was made of bone, ivory and later wood and metals and was probably first used to remove parasites from the hair, a function that has been maintained throughout history. The first U.S. patent for a modern hairbrush was by Hugh Rock in 1854; a brush with springy wire teeth together with natural bristles was patented by Samuel Firey in 1870. Prior to this discovery there was no other tool more convenient and practical than a comb with prongs for grooming hair. It is also believed that brushes were used as primitive hairbrushes. Lyda Newman was a notable black inventor who patented the first hairbrush with synthetic bristles and has no person who discovered it as it is said to have existed from prehistoric times and adapted to our lives.

TELEPHONE

The telephone has revolutionized communication since its invention more than 140 years ago. Alexander Graham Bell patented the first telephone on March 7, 1876 in Boston, using metal and wood components to transmit voice over long distances. Prior to this, communication relied on slower methods, such as letters. Over time, the telephone evolved, incorporating technologies such as the dial and keypad, becoming an essential element in homes and businesses. Today, modern telephones, made of plastic and glass, integrate digital functions, symbolizing the advancement of technology and connecting people instantly.

The old compass were made of silver and a rock that had a rock whit a magnet.
