The television or TV was invented by Philo Taylor Farnsworth, in San Francisco (California), the 7th of September 1927. He worked on it since 1920. It was invented because he was conviced that mechanical systems that used, for example, a spinning disc would be to slow to scan and assemble images many times a second. When he was creating the television, he had many challenges like: His father's death in January 1924 meant that he had to leave Brigham Young and work to support his family while finishing his invention. He had to postpone his dreams of developing television. According to Britanicca:"Pictures were small. About the size a 12 to 14-inch screen today, but clear enough to be seen halfway down the bar". The function was possible medium for education and interpesonal communication. It was very useful because you could learn and communicate information.

The television has changed because now it's bigger and thinner. Now it's better. Also, it has colors and the images are more acceptable because the screen is bigger. Also, the sounds are of higher quality. It has improved our lives because it has provided us with entertainment, allowed us to participatein important events, and shaped the way we see and think about things, as a society. The television impacted the enviroment because according to MediaSmarts: "Television can teach kids important values and life lessons. Educational programming can develop young children's socialization and learning skills. News, current events and historical programming can help make young people more aware of other cultures and people". This invention created new problems like: People are lazier, they don't do sports,... Some companies that are making TV's are: LG, Samsung, Sony, Philips, Vivo...

The future television will be trasparent and other ones can be controlled by a phone. The television will continue improving our lives because television provides opportunities for education, and cultural undersanding. According to Comunicar: "The results show that students who spends more than 4 hours a day waching television favor a sedentary perfomance. Your television habits increase with age. A sedentary life style, reduce phisical activity, school work and achive poor academic performance". Some plans or ideas to improve this invetion are that will be a central center where all the electrical devices in the house come toghether. If the television changes, it will have a touch screen. The invention will not be very different as how it is today.
