NEED HELP? How to get started writing conditional sentences? So, you think about what you think is important. For example: - I think poverty is a big problem. When I see all these children living on the street, or mothers that can't pay food or clothes for their children, I get sad. You think of a solution: - A solution could be that governments gave all people an income, or that everyone is given a house to live in. You think of how possible this action could be. How likely is it that this would happen? - I think this is very unlikely: most people think that there is not enough money to give an income or a house to all people, or they think people would take advantage of it. - So I would use the 2nd conditional: if + past simple --> would + infinitive. You make a sentence with the info and the conditional: - If the governments gave all people an income, no one would have to live in poverty.

introduction to the 17 goals

The United Nations introduced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in 2015 as a global plan to reduce poverty, protect nature and enable everyone to live in peace and prosperity. But what would a sustainable world look like? This short video introduces these 17 SDGs. You can also check the UN's page: https://sdgs.un.org/goals FAQ about the SDG: https://www.globalgoals.org/faq In this video, you have an overview of the 17 sustainable development goals. You can find a more detailed description of each goal in the Stream Channel of this Joint Adventure: En route 2030. Read more about each of the 17 goals on the UN's website. Make sure you understand WHY the UN introduced these goals and WHICH goals have been set.
