" You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" "You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" Juan's mother said to her son every day. She gave him a sharp bolo knife and sent him to fetch firewood. Juan was trying to chop the tree when the tree told him it was magic. So he didn't cut it and he had a goat in return. He could have gold whenever he tickled the goat's beard. At the edge of the forest, Juan met his friend. He tickled the goat's beard and a pile of gold coins fell on the ground. Then they bought some wine, Juan drank a lot and fell asleep. Quickly his friend went away with Juan's goat and left another goat. When Juan woke up he went to his mother's with the goat. His mother said: " You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" "You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" He showed his mother the goat but when he tickled the goat's beard, there was no gold. So he went to the forest again. He was starting to chop the same tree, but the tree offered him a fishing net. The fishing net would come back with a lot of fish whenever he cast the fishing net.

Text

At the edge of the forest he met his friend. So Juan showed him the fishing net and when he pulled it in, it was full of beautiful fish. Therefore they decided to celebrate: they cooked the fish and drank some palm wine. Juan fell asleep again because he was drunk. Quickly his friend took the magic net away and left another one. When he woke up, he went home and his mother said: "You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" "You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" He showed her the fishing net, but when he pulled it in, the net was empty. His mother was furious. She gave him the bolo knife and he walked through the forest until he came to the same tree. This time the tree gave him a stick. Whoever is holding the stick will get what he deserves, saying: " Boombye Boomba!". At the edge of the forest, he met his friend. Juan said: Boombye Boomba!" and the stick jumped out of his friend's hand, and beat him on his back and on his bottom until he was black and blue.

After that he went home with his presents, but his mum said: "You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?""You are no good, Juan, where's the wood?" Juan's mother took the magic stick from him. Juan called: " Boombye Boomba" and the stick was starting to beat his mother when Juan ordered it to stop.
