The thirteen colonies established on the Atlantic coast of North America (from north to south: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia).These colonies they were used as exchange bases and to trade products, such as oil, ceramics, weapons; they served as a support for maritime trade; by sending part of the population to distant lands, serious political conflicts that disturbed the life of the polis could be resolved.

According to the most accredited version, the term Black Friday was born in Philadelphia in 1961, since that Friday after Thanksgiving was a very busy day in the shopping streets: black, therefore, would have derived from the traffic on the streets and the congestion in the shops caused by thousands of Americans.
