BIOGRAPHY

Atomic Theory (1803-1808) – His Major Discovery -Matter is made up of indivisible particles called atoms. -Each chemical element consists of identical atoms with the same mass and properties.

-Study of color blindness (1794) -Law of partial pressures (1801)-> In a gas mixture, the total pressure is equal to the sum of the pressures exerted by each gas individually.

HIS DISCOVERIES

He lauched a series of meteorological observations that he continued for 57 years
