Inclusive LinkedIn

Imagine you have to create a version of LinkedIn or similar job apps for people with ASD. How would it be? How does it improve the recruitment and selection process? The players are divided into groups and each group will have 20 minutes to draw and then present their "inclusive LinkedIn". The best group moves 2 steps forward.

empathy

Watch the video and discuss in the group which parts of your job/office can trigger similar reactions. Remember this is just an example, each person is different. Empathy is fundamental for improvement, after the discussion everyone player moves one place forward.

Job crafting

Job crafting is a proactive approach employees take to redesign their jobs to better align with their strengths, interests, and values. Job Crafting is used to align the needs and goal of people with disability, but is a great tool for all. In this case each player will have 15 minutes to identify at least 3 changes they would like to do in their job - it can be task related, relational or mindset. The player with the best answers moves 2 places up!

inclusion?

You have 2 minutes to mimic 3 principles or actions that describe inclusion in your organization. If a player guesses it right both move 2 places forward. If no one can guess it go back to the starting position.

The game can be played by 2 to 4 players or more if played as a team in each chip. Each player must choose a chip (yellow, blue, red or green) and roll the dice. The player who gets the highest number will be the one to start the game. To play, each participant must roll the dice and move his/her piece to the corresponding square. Each player only has one move per round, even if they got the right answer. Some challenges will provide advantages for moving on the board. The player who reaches the finish line first wins. Simple, right? Give it your best and enjoy this learning experience! For more information on the Project please vist (Website).

One last challenge

All players should reflect on the experience of the TALENTED game. What did you learn? What will you implement in your organization? Are you more aware of the myths and the benefits of hiring people with ASD?

blind cv

Select or download the CV, after each player has 1 minute to identify changes to make the analysis of the CV more inclusive. The players that identifies the most move 5 places forward.

the steps for success

Each player will select one step, and will have 20 minutes to develop a plan to improve the procedures of that step tailored to people with ASD. The players then all vote on the best one, and the winner moves 5 places up!

All to the game!

All players will develop an awareness campaign for the organization with the goal to foster a more inclusive enterprise. It is fundamental to foster a culture of diversity and inclusivity for all workers and managers. There is no time limit or evaluation for this challenge, the aim is to then bring the discussion to reality within your organization.
