• What it is: An AI specifically geared towards teachers

• Basic Functions: Over 60 AI resource types and learning objects to generate including: email generator, rubric creator, summarizer, text leveling, question creator, good/bad exemplar creators, etc.

• Unique Features: Raina, the AI chatbot, acts as an alternative to ChatGPT

Quizizz AI

• What it is: A platform for teachers to create lessons, quizzes, and review games for students.
• Basic Functions: Multiple choice questions, fill in the blank, polls, video questions, interactive lessons/slideshows
• Unique Features: Tracks question accuracy and speed to see where students struggle, students can play review games at home, teachers can host self-paced games at school

Blooket

• What it is: A tool that takes review questions and turns them into different styles of games.

• Basic Functions: Multiple choice questions, Quizlet import, ability for students to play games at home.

• Unique Features: A variety of games that are more involved and fun than your typical multiple choice style, with no extra effort on your part.

Arcade

Games

• What it is: A platform for teachers to create lessons, quizzes, and activities for students.

• Basic Functions: Helps design lessons, access ready-made resources, and track student progress.

• Unique Features: Suggests lessons based on student needs and integrates with classroom tools like Google Classroom.

Vivi

• What it is: A tool teachers can use for screencasting, showing media, and mini assessments.

• Basic Functions: Screen sharing, playing media (YouTube, Google Docs), timer/stopwatch, student presentation sharing, whiteboard, polls, assessments.

• Unique Features: Mini assessments can be MC, T/F, Yes/No, or short answer. Students log in to Vivi and join your class, and you can use your usual slideshow to create a question and see how students respond.

Docs

• What it is: Digital lesson plans that are designed by teachers and given to students.

• Basic Functions: Provides an outline that can include text, links, and images that students can follow independently.

• Unique Features: Can be created in Google Docs, provides a more interesting and engaging format for delivering information.

• What it is: A site where teachers can create interactive review games that students can play in real time or at their own pace.

• Basic Functions: Multiple choice questions with the opportunity for students to earn currency and use power-ups.

• Unique Features: Ability to play games as homework assignments and students can work at their own pace.

• What it is: A website with a ton of resources for teachers.

• Basic Functions: Random name picker, random group generator, bingo & crossword generator, SMS generator, and more.

• Unique Features: Free and very easy to use.

Templates

• What it is: DitchThatTextbook.com's library of game templates for Google Slides.

• Basic Functions: Games like Jeopardy, Family Feud, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, etc. all formatted for Google Slides.

• Unique Features: Some options for Canva available now!

• What it is: A site that has escape room style games to challenge students.

• Basic Functions: Escape rooms for all subjects and levels, including a daily challenge.

• Unique Features: Some esape rooms can be done physically instead of digitally.
