Rights guaranteed to children when they are adopted:
Right to protection: it is guaranteed that minors are protected agains any form of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Right to housing: it is the right of children and adolescents to live in a decent and respectable home, where they can develop fully.
They have the right to adopt article 448:
People between twenty five and sixty years of age.Spouse in common agreement who meet the minimun age. Adoption produces the effects of: Give each other food reciprocally. The adopter will have parental authority.

Rights to live in a family environment: adoption seeks to provide children with a stable and safe home wheere they can grow in a loving family environment. Right to education and healt: adopters must ensure that the minor has access to education, medical care, and all necessary resources for their development..

What to do to adopt?
If you are over twenty one years of age, you may adopt one or more minors or incapacited person, when you can prove:
- Be more than ten years older than the adoptee.
- To have the means to provide the food of the adopted one, as a child.
- That the adoption is beneficial for the person who is intented to adopt.
- That the adopter is a suitable person to adopt, in accordance with be certificate of suitability issued by the System for the integral Development of the Family of the State of México, based on the medical, psychological, socioeconomic and social work studies.

Requeriments of the
adopter according to the Civil Code of the state of Guanajuato article 451:
Minimun age of twenty five years. That the adopter is psychologically prepared. That the adopter is suitable in aspects: economic, legal, social, physical and moral.Apropiate conditions to provide a home and education. Certificate of suitability.
- The procuraduría Estatal de Protección de niñas, niños y Adolescentes del estado de Guanajuato gives the certificate of suitability.
