The Big Circus Show

IN THE CIRCUS...

Once upon a time, there was a big, colorful circus. The circus had a big tent with red and yellow stripes. All the children were excited because today was the Big Circus Show! First, the ringmaster came out. He wore a tall hat and said, “Welcome to the circus! Let’s have fun!”

THE FUNNY CLOWN

Then, a funny clown came out. He had a red nose, big shoes, and a big, big smile! He juggled three colorful balls: a red ball, a blue ball, and a yellow ball. The children laughed and clapped. The clown said, “Do you like my show?” And the children shouted, “YES!”

THE STRONG MAN

Next, the strong man walked to the center. He had big muscles. He lifted a heavy weight. Up, up, up he went, all the way to the top! The children said, “Wow!” The strong man smiled and said, “Am I strong?” And the children shouted:

THE DANCING ELEPHANT

Then, there was a surprise! A big elephant came out. She wore a pink tutu and danced in a circle. The children said, “Look! An elephant is dancing!” She twirled and twirled, and the children clapped and cheered. The elephant trumpeted, “Do you like my dance?” And the children shouted, “YES!”

THE FLYING ACROBATS

After that, the flying acrobats appeared. They were high, high up on the trapeze. They swung from side to side, flipping and flying. The children held their breath. The acrobats did a big jump, and everyone said, “Ooooh!” The acrobats asked, “Did you like our tricks?” And the children shouted, “YES!”

THE END OF THE SHOW

At the end, everyone came back: the clown, the strong man, the dancing elephant, and the acrobats. They all stood together and said, “Did you like the circus?” And the children shouted,
