A scuola, con la professoressa Bernardi, abbiamo approfondito il commercio equo solidale e abbiamo parlato del Fairtrade. Lei per casa ci ha assegnato un compito di realtà che consisteva nell'andare al supermercato insieme ai nostri genitori e fare normalmente una spesa settimanale. Poi abbiamo dovuto confrontare i nostri prodotti con altri equo solidali per arrivare a delle conclusioni. Io personalmente sono più che favorevole a una spesa Fairtrade ma non comprerei tutti i prodotti equo solidali dato che il loro prezzo è nettamente maggiore.

Il Fairtrade è un sistema che promuove un commercio equo nei confronti dei produttori dei paesi in via di sviluppo. Garantisce loro una giusta retribuzione, buone condizioni di lavoro e il rispetto per l’ambiente. I prodotti con il marchio Fairtrade sono sicuri e vengono venduti in modo sostenibile, aiutando gli abitanti dei paesi in via di sviluppo a migliorare la loro vita.

Secondo me tutti noi potremmo fare una spesa con anche solo un prodotto Fairtrade, invece sono poche le persone che riuscirebbero veramente a acquistare prodotti sempre equo solidali. Questo perché il prezzo dei prodotti Fairtrade è nettamente superiore e a volte è anche il doppio di quello di un prodotto normale. Io personalmente da ora in poi ogni volta che andrò a fare la spesa proverò ad acquistare dei prodotti equosolidali perché sono certa di mangiare qualcosa di qualità e che le persone che lo hanno prodotto non sono state non sono state sfruttate e non vengono sottopagate. Un comparatore può però decidere di non acquistare prodotti fairtrade per vari motivi. Oltre al prezzo maggiore c'è anche molta meno scelta tra i prodotti e c'è il rischio che siano meno buoni rispetto a quello che mangiamo normalmente. Io però con questo non sono d'accordo perché, anche se in alcuni casi mi potrebbe capitare di mangiare alimenti meno buoni, comunque farò del bene permettendo una vita migliore ai produttori di quel prodotto.

OPINIONE PERSONALE

Io da ora in poi mi impegnerò ad acquistare almeno qualche prodotto equo solidale ogni volta che faccio la spesa e mi impegnerò nel far capire anche agli altri l'importanza di acquistare prodotti Fairtrade.

Il prezzo della spesa con prodotti fairtrade è nettamente maggiore. Tutti i prodotti equosolidali costano di più di quelli che non lo sono, alcuni solo di qualche centesimo mentre altri costano quasi il doppio.
