- Born on September 6, 1766 in Eaglesfield, he lived all his life in Eaglefield, in 1793 he published a book entitled Meteorological Observations and Essays, he suffered from a visual impairment that prevented him from distinguishing certain colors. In the field of chemistry, Dalton is famous for formulating his atomic theory in 1803, he proposed that matter is composed of indivisible particles called atoms, that atoms of the same element are identical in mass and properties, he explored various scientific areas, including meteorology, and he also made detailed observations on the weather.

- He died on July 27, 1844 in Manchester.

He was born on April 22, 1724 in Königsberg, Prussia (now Kaliningrad, Russia),where he lived.In 1781 he published his most famous work, Critique of Pure Reason.He proposed that space and time are not independent realities, but forms in which our mind organizes perception.He developed an ethics based on the “categorical imperative,” a principle that holds that we should act according to rules that can become universal laws. In works such as Critique of Practical Reason (1788) and Foundation of the Metaphysics of Morals (1785).He explored issues of politics, religion and aesthetics, leaving a profound impact on areas such as the philosophy of law and political philosophy, with his idea of perpetual peace and his vision of human progress toward a more just world.He died on February 12, 1804 in Königsberg.
