Definition of artificial intelligence (AI): AI is a domain of computer that want to create systems capable of simulating human intelligence, like reasoning, learning, or take decisions.
Why is this an important topic? : AI is omnipresent in our daily (examples: smartphones, autonomous cars like Tesla)

History of IA

The beginnings 1950: Alan Turing proposes the Turing test to assess the intelligence of machines. 1956: Official birth of AI at the Dartmouth conference.

Recent progress2010: Development of neural networks and deep learning. 2020: emergence of generative AI (like ChatGPT).

The advantages and disadvantages of AI

Disavantages: - Job loss - Increased dependence - Risk of malicious use (Deepfake, computer attack...)
Advantages: - Saving time and efficiency. - Helps solve complex problems (climate, medicine).

Types of IA

Low IA Designed to perform a specific task (examples: Siri, Google Translate). Strong AI AI capable of thinking and reasoning like a human.

IA applications
