- Training and serving is done through missions.
- The Air National Guard trains to assist.
- The Air National Guard serves either at a state level or national level.
- The Air Force Reserve performs flying exercises to train.
Marine Corps
- First branch to deal with combat.
- Deals with combat operations.
- Trained domestically.
- Offered full time

- Works on the ground instead of in air or at sea.
Army
- Oldest branch of the Military in the U.S.
- Job is to protect U.S. resources and security.
- Part time training is done near home for the Army Reserve.
- The Army and Army National Guard deploy together.
- They can serve nationally or at a state level.
- If a member in the Army serves part time they are only deployed when needed.
