Yes,they contributed to the List of Grievances and led the March on Versailles to pressure the king to return to Paris. Additionally, women formed *revolutionary clubs* and some, like *Charlotte Corday*, took radical actions, such as the assassination of Marat. Although they did not achieve political equality, their participation was key in the Revolution.
b.Describe the engraving entitled To Versailles,To Versaille.What social groupdo you thinkthese women belong to? Explain your answer
The engraving shows women marching towards Versailles armed with agricultural tools and improvised weapons. They probably belonged to the Third Estate, since they were women of the people, peasants and workers, affected by poverty and inequality.

The demands included: Equal rights with men. Improvement in economic conditions, especially access to bread and other basic foods. Political participation and cessation of monarchical tyranny. Inclusion of women's rights in the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.
d. Describe the image titled "Women's patriotic club." Find out the goals and activities of these clubs.
The image represents a patriotic women's club, where they debated political issues, read revolutionary texts and promoted equal rights. These clubs sought to educate women politically and actively supported revolutionary ideals.

The author of the text was Olympe de Gouges. She wrote the Declaration of the Rights of Women and of the Citizen in 1791 to denounce the exclusion of women in the Revolution and advocate for equal rights between men and women, inspired by the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.
b. Use the Internet. Compare it with the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. What specific rights do you ask for women?
Legal and political equality between men and women. Right to resist oppression. Freedom and property as natural rights of women. Right of women to participate in all political institutions.

Yes, women played a crucial role in the French Revolution. They participated in protests such as the March on Versailles, pushed for economic and political reforms, and promoted revolutionary ideals in clubs and meetings. However, their demands were not fully recognized at this stage.
9. Do you think that women from all social classes participated in the protests? Explain your answer
Mainly women from the Third State participated, such as farmers, workers and housewives affected by the economic crisis. Women of the nobility and bourgeoisie had less incentive to protest publicly, although some, such as Olympe de Gouges, used their position to advocate for equal rights.
