The steam engine was one of the most important inventions created ruing the Industrial Revolution, which was used for transport, consequently, the first trains, steamboats and sailing ships appeared, which facilitated trade and transport between countries and cities.
Workers had very terrible working conditions, and this led to many revolutions, mainly political, and movements in which they defended their rights.

Due to the technological advances and the creation of different types of machines such as the steam engine, the work that the artisans used to do, was done by the machines.Consequently, the small workshop disappeared and gave way to the constructions of big factories.
The Agricultural Revolution
Led to changes that increased productivity:-Change in the structure and ownership of land -New farming methods and techniques (Norfolk crop rotation system) -Mechanisation of agriculture -Expansion of livestock farming
