English verb tense.Used to indicate actions started in the past that continue to be performed in the present.

1. It is used to indicate actions that began in the past and continue in the present.

2. Used to indicate the duration of an action.

3. To indicate actions that were in progress and have just concluded, but the result of that action should be noted.

Noun + have/has been + verb -ing + complement.

Noun + have/has been + not + verb -ing + complement.

Have/has + noun + been +verb -ing + complement?Wh + have/has + noun + been +verb -ing + complement?

They delimit the time where the action takes place.

Since → Desde (placed next to a specific time in the past; date, day, etc.) Lately → Últimamente Recently → Recientemente

For → Durante (and is placed next to a period of time (hours, days, weeks, months, years)

Note: For is a preposition

The gerund is a verb form used to indicate an ongoing or developing action. It is formed by adding “-ing” to the infinitive of the verb.
