Over the past few years, san francisco has been falling victim to sink holes, falling cities, and sinking towns All of this is the result of climate changes' harsh and critical impacts on the city. Along with wildfires and extreme heat, the city is facing major damage.

What is currently being done to combat it

Where else in the world is experiencing a similar form of climate change?

The amazon rainforest is one region of the world being affetced by wildfires, Australia and Central Asia as well. The artic faces rising sea levels and sink holes are forming constantly in Spain

To combat the biodiversity loss, san francisco has been planting trees, increasing public education, and raising awareness on the matter of climate change. These are all measures being taken to counteract the damage delt.

With all the events going on the bay area is subject to droughts from the extreme heat, sinking/flooding from the rising sea levels, poor air quality from the wild fires, economic, residential, and biodiversity depletion, and an overall struggle to adapt to the environmental changes before it's too late.

Wildfires have been seen to block sunlight with their smoke and alter the temperature of oceans as a result. This dramatically changes weather patterns and the destructive forces are only increased by the risen sea levels that contribute to the forming catastrophic events
