According to University of San Diego, temperatures are expected to rise 5 to 10 degrees by the end of the 21st century. The increase in temperature is also going to bring more heat waves and more wildfires. This can hurt animals and their habitats.

The University of San Diego refers to a plan made by the GHC to help reduce the amount of carbon emissions produced in the city in order to combat climate change. This wil also be able to help make the city more sustainable to live in. According to San Diego County Air Pollution Control District, there is many groups who advocate for this.

The environments in both areas would be affected by each others issues due to climate change. People would also be affected in each city due to their close range.
An increase in temperature and wildfires can lead to many lasting effects can happen. People can have heat strokes due to higher temperatures, they can have effects on their breathing due to smoke from fires, and they can be without water if there is a mass drought.
With the increase in temperatures over the 21st century, that comes more harmful fires and more droughts. These droughts can hurt the environment by degrading the land, ruining the soil, and harming plants.
