Resumo do livro

O livro começa quando Poirot decide que vai tirar umas férias bem mercidas.Ele vai para o Hotel Jolly Roger onde conhece as outras personagens .No entretanto ele descobre do caso de Arlena e Patrick . Patrick e Emily decidiram ir dar a volta á ilha de barco quando ao passar pela praia encontram Arlena , já se tinham habituado a ver a atriz a tomar banhos de sol na areia mas desta vez a atriz nâo está a apanhar sol, está morta. E nâo foi um acidente pois depois da investigaçâo de Poirot descobrem que ela foi assassinada. Ao investigar mais um bocado Poirot descobre que ninguém gostava dela e toda a gente pararece ter um motivo mas também um álibi para o crime e o detetive tem bastante dificuldade em descubrir o assassino .Mas eventualmente chega lá e a identidade do assassino choca todas as personagens .

A minha opinião sobre o livro Para mim o momento mais inquietante foi quando Hercule Poirot confrontou o assassino sobre o crime porque finalmente descobrem quem é a personagem que matou Arlena .E para mim a personagem mais marcante foi Hercule Poirot pois ele é muito inteligente e consegue sempre resolver qualquer crime .Eu gostei bastante do livro porque o final foi muito surpreendente e recomendo este livro para pessoas que gostam de livros com finais inesperados .
