Escola Secundaria Sa de Miranda

Introduction

Named after a Portuguese poet, Sá de Miranda, this high school differs from others when it comes to offering unique facilities, such as a museum and a theatre. It was founded by Passos Manuel in 1836 and has changed locations twice since then.

In Portugal, education is divided into 4 cycles, plus the kindergarten. Each circle represents a cycle. The larger the circle, the more the cycle contributes to students' academic development by the time they complete their studies.
