Travel details

When I went to Marrakech I went by ferry and it's the cheapest way to travel. Going by ferry I spent around 7 hours and it was a good experience. First I went to the north of Morocco, and then I went by bus to North Medina, this area is home of emblematic places such as the Majorelle Garden and the Koutoubia Mosque.I stayed there for 5 days and it was a good amount of time ti visit the city. In Morocco I had to change euros to dirhams and Morocco is cheaper than Spain (money in Morocco). 1€= 10 dirhams

The Marrakech palm grove has more than 100.000 palms trees and was planted during the Almoravid dynasty. Nowadays is considered a luxury area and is the center of a large urbal plan that includes residences, restaurants, and hotels.

Ourika Valley is a valley in the Morroccan high Atlas next to the Ourika river. It is located in Marrakech and is essentially populated by people speaking shilha.

When I was in Oasiria , in this place I saw 8 pools while I was eating an ice cream. Also I saw several attractions and if you want to eat somethig you could go to a restaurant in there but it´s so expensive .

This garden is a work of art that today have plants from the five continents like bamboo, cactus and also aquatic plants.

GASTRONOMY

CULTURAL FACTS

When I was in Marrakech I could see people who practiced the islam but also some people with another culture. Over there the woman should wear a hibab and a large dress . The men must wear a tunic or trousers if they want to go to the mosque. If you want to go to a restaurant ,Sunday is the perfect day because it is traditionally to cook cuscus and eat with your family at lunch. The time that you have to go to the mosque is in the morning around half past six, at lunch arond half past one, then at four o'clock, in the afternoon at half past six and finally in the evening at half past seven.

ACTIVITIES

In Marrakech, there are lots of things to do.There, I went for a camel ride in the Agafay desert, it was amazing because you can even feed them and I had never done ! I also surf in a dune and an off-road rute. To come to these places I went by bus but you can go by taxi and it cost around 40€.
