Dolphin-watching boat trip
1st DAY
Eat exotic fruits
We arrived to Maldives Islands in the morning and in the evening we started our first tour: ate exotic fruits. We went to a local market with a lot of shops of food. Our tour guide took us a lot of different types of fruits that are only there. My favourite fruit was the cashew apple, a very sweet fruit. It was a very interesting experience and we enjoy a lot. At night we were very tired and we slept in a beautiful hotel in the beach.
2nd DAY
DIVE IN CORAL REEFS
One of the most incredible activity of the country
The second day in the Maldives was a day of diving around coral reefs. It began with an expert briefing on all the equipment and safety measures we needed to follow. Then, we dove into the crystal-clear waters to explore colorful reefs teeming with tropical fish, turtles, and reef sharks. Later, we sailed to a thila or a cleaning station where we spotted manta rays and whale sharks. At midday, we did a drift dive among vibrant marine life, followed by a relaxing break while enjoying the ocean views. At night, we embarked on a nocturnal dive into the depths of the ocean.
3rd DAY
Dolphin-watching boat TRIP
A magic experience
The third day in the Maldives, we went on a boat trip to watch dolphins in their natural habitat. We boarded a traditional dhoni in the late afternoon, guided by a tour guide who knew exactly where to find these amazing creatures. Then, we reached the dolphin hotspots and we saw about 20 dolphins. At night, we had dinner in the dhoni and we went to bed early because we had to leave at 5 am the following day.
