CPS- Creative Problem Solving

How does the CPS process nurture creativity? CPS prompts students to come up with more ideas without being judged. It encourages divergent thinking. In Book 2, the video Convergent Thinking Versus Divergent Thinking by John Spencer, he explains that divergent thinking expands outward by generating multiple ideas. This CPS process encourages divergent thinking and promotes collaboration. What uses and types of problems can be analyzed using the CPS method? Any problem that would involve a creative solution, such as environmental problems or design challenges. In what ways could the CPS process be used for further classroom use? Provide classroom examples of how the tools might be used in content areas.Students are really into technology and their cell phones. Students can apply CPS to real-world projects, such as designing and creating a new app. As a teacher, I can use CPS to help students tackle challenges in various subjects, like writing a persuasive essay or conducting a science experiment.

• Self-reflection: PCA encourages individuals to reflect on their creative processes and outcomes.

This tool can also promote organization by breaking down large tasks into smaller steps, this tool helps individuals stay on track and avoid feeling overwhelmed.What types of problems can be analyzed using the Plan of Action method? Any problem that requires a systematic approach to implementation can be analyzed using the Plan of Action.How could the Plan of Action tool be used for further classroom use? In math and other subjects with project planning, students can use this tool to plan and organize their projects. In addition with time management, students can use this tool to break down large assignments into smaller, manageable tasks. Classroom examples of how the Plan of Action tool might be used in content areas: In Science, students can use this tool to plan and conduct scientific experiments. In Math, students can use this tool to break down complex math problems into smaller steps, and arrive at a solution in a more creative way or their own unique way.In Language Arts, students can use this tool to plan and organize their writing process, to help them write more creativly.
