How to Organize
First, by letter
- Alphabetized by the letters. Nothing goes before something. So B goes before BS.
Next by whole number.
The next group is a decimal with letters and numbers.
- Letters are arranged alphabetically
- Numbers are treated as decimal points
- Comparing .A4010 with .A52 by position, the 4 is smaller than 5 so .A4010 comes first.
The final number is usually a date, so shelve chronologically.
