The attack was directed by Osama bin Laden, nineteen terrorists hijacked four commercial airplanes on September 11, 2001, and crashed two of them into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, and one into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. A fourth plane crashed in Pennsylvania. As a result, thousands of innocent people from over 80 countries lost their lives.

The attack

There were 2,977 people who died in the attacks and 2,753 in the World Triad Center, of the victims who died in the World Trade Center, only half were recognized, among the people who died were police officers, plane passengers, firefighters and crew members.All surviving victims received compensation of 250,000.The number of people injured was between 6,000 to 25,000.
