- SCHOOL: It is middle school with a Manager who is focused on providing technological instrument to the students, and continuous teachers training.
- AREA: The school is situated in the backcountry of Genoa.
- CULTURAL BACKGROUND: There is a gap among students who really enjoy English subject and students who are not interested in.

SS are responsible but perky and get bored easily.

The Teacher gives some clues on how to guess the general theme of the day.
5 minutes activity-warm up
The Teacher prepares a word(CITY) connected to the theme of the day, and the students have to guess what the word is. This work as a warm up and as an alternative brainstorming on the words they know.
40 minutes activity-from engage to study
Phase 1

The teacher proposes a listening activity to improve this skill.
On classroom the students begin to write a sort of London guide tour.

The class and the teacher review prepositions of place and the main differences about simple past and present perfect.

Students reply, individually practicing what they have just learnt.

The class is divided in two groups, but they answer the questions individually. They have immediate feedback.
5 minutes activity-activate (writing & speaking task)
The teacher explains the students that as a homework they will be asked to realise a tale where they have to explain how to reach one of their favourite highlights in London. The story will be recorded on Flipgrid after writing the whole script. Classmates will comment the videos if they found some mistakes.
5 minutes activity wrap-up
The teacher always provides the students a form to share their thoughts.
