Pay Rates for Substitute Teachers
Interested in becoming a substitute teacher?
There are several ways to qualify:
- Hold a current or expired teaching license from any state
- Completion of an Effective Teacher Training Course
- Hold an associate's degree or atleast 48 hours of college credits
- Completion of 96 documented CEU hours AFTER January 8, 2002 AND passing WorkKeys assessment scores.
- Complete online application and upload a copy of transcipts and Effective Teacher Training Certificate or teaching license.
- Contact one of our schools to request an interview.
- Paperwork will be sent via email by HR once school makes recommendation.
The pay dates and associated time periods for substitute teachers are documented on the "Traditional (10 & 11 month) Payroll Schedule".
